Featured Castlepoint Castlepoint is home to the iconic lighthouse and surfing beach. The area includes settlements at Mataikona and Whakataki. Riversdale Riversdale hosts a surf lifesaving club, golf course and a permanent resident population of over 400 people. Mauriceville Mauriceville is a small township founded by Scandinavian settlers and has a co-educational primary school. Tīnui Tinui is the first place in the world to have an ANZAC day service. You will find public bathrooms, a great cafe and other shops in this small township.
