Sewer Main Renewal | Pownall Street
Services
Our contractor, City Care, will be replacing the sewer main on Pownall Street, Masterton.
- Dates & Times: Monday 12 June - Friday 16 June, 7 pm - 6 am.
- All works are subject to favourable weather conditions.
Traffic Impacts:
- Access or any extra work to properties will be discussed with each individual resident to try and accommodate both parties. City Care will inform property owners beforehand in person when work will commence on their properties.
- For the safety of the workers and other road users, the work area will be coned off and barricaded.
- There will be traffic management in place around the work site. Please follow onsite signage.
General Impacts:
- This work involves digging a trench in the centre of the road, which will require excavation and compaction of material. There will be some noise and vibration from time to time, which will be kept to a minimum.
- There will be no expected interruptions to existing water, wastewater, power or telecommunication services while City Care undertake this work.
- There may be a temporary cut off of the sewer supply, when City Care do the initial connection to the sewer mains. Residents will be notified about this in advance.
