Closure of Church Street for Pavement Repairs
Roadworks
Our contractor, Higgins, will be working on Church Street (between Dixon Street and Masonic Street) to repair pavements. Cement stabilising will be carried out on the road surface to repair pavement issues. The road will need to be closed while this work takes place on the following days:
- Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th of March 2024
- Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th of April 2024
Work will take place between the hours of 7.30am to 6.30 pm.
It is expected that the work should only take six days. In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the work may be delayed until the next available fine day.
TRAFFIC CONTROL
- Full road closure will be in place up to 6.30 pm.
- Footpath access will be open and monitored for public safety.
- If you are unsure of anything please do not hesitate to ask questions of one of the staff on site.
PUBLIC SAFETY
- Please ensure that you keep a safe distance from the work, preferably from within your property boundary.
- Please ensure all pets are well secured within your section during the works operations.
