Road Closure | Mataikona Road

Notice of Road Closure on Mataikona Road between “The Paua Pad” and Mataikona Station at the 12km mark for Culvert Replacement.

WORK INVOLVES - Excavation of the road to access the culvert, this will allow us to replace the broken culvert, this process will close the road for 6 hours to ensure we can get in do the work and get out with minimum disruption to the road user.

WHEN - 19th August2024

START AND FINISH - Between the hours of 9am and 3pm

WEATHER - In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances the work may be delayed until the next available fine day.

Traffic Control - Full Road Closure will be in place between 9am and 3pm to ensure we can get an uninterrupted go at the culvert work. After 3:00pm your travel will be restricted to one lane. There will be at times during the work that we may be able to get residents out past the culvert. If you are unsure, please do not hesitate to ask one of our staff on site.

SAFETY - Please ensure that you stand well back, preferably from within your property boundary. Also please ensure all pets are well secured within your section during the works operations.
