Masterton has a bylaw controlling alcohol in some public spaces. The bylaw in place includes the Masterton CBD, skatepark and Queen Elizabeth Park.
Alcohol Licensing

If you plan to sell alcohol on your premises, or let people bring alcohol to drink, you’ll need to apply for the appropriate licence.

Be a Responsible Host

All licensed premises within Masterton are required to have a written Host Responsibility Policy.
