Can I fill out a hardcopy form?
Yes, you can still complete a paper form if you would prefer.

When you have completed the form you can drop it into the Customer Service Centre with the required fee, or email it to planningadmin@mstn.govt.nz with confirmation of your internet banking payment.
What information does a LIM contain?
A LIM contains:
- A copy of the Record of Title
- Any known natural hazards of the land, including potential erosion, avulsion, liquefaction, subsidence, slippage, flooding, fault lines or likely presence of hazardous contaminants/sites
- Planning information regarding zoning and other District Plan features such as heritage precincts, buildings, designations or outstanding landscapes
- Resource Consent’s over the property issued by MDC with copies of decisions and those adjoining properties.
- Services through the property - water pipes, sewerage and storm water drains or drains in common and whether there any connections to neighbouring properties
- Rates information annual water rates and meters
- Building Consents over the property issued by MDC
- Swimming Pool Compliance (if applicable)
- Licences - food, liquor, on/off licenses, trade waste (if applicable)
- Any other information Council deems relevant
