Replacement footbridge for Kaka and Kereru

A footbridge running between Kaka Street and Kereru Place will be replaced, with work starting on Monday 17 April.
Masterton District Council Roading Services Manager Kaine Jaquiery said that the existing footbridge was due for renewal in order to remain safe for its users.
“Unfortunately, local users will need to take the long way round for now – but our contractors will work to get the new footbridge installed as quickly as possible.”
The work is expected to take around four weeks to complete, weather dependent.
