Help available to have your say
Masterton District Council wants to make it as easy as possible for people to have their voices heard on the proposed 2024-34 Long-Term Plan (LTP) and is taking bookings for appointments on Friday (3 May) for anyone who would like some in-person help to make their submission.
Appointments can be made by calling the Council’s customer service centre on 06 370 6300.
These will be made for times between from 10am and 3pm, at Waiata House, 27 Lincoln Road.
Mayor Gary Caffell wants as many submissions as possible before the deadline at 10am on Monday (6 May).
“The LTP sets out Council plans for the next 10 years – it’s very important we hear from our community.
“This is your place. It’s your plan. Have your say.”
The Mayor’s usual Mayor in a Chair session at the Council’s Queen Street office will tomorrow be replaced by a Mayor in the Square session in the square outside the old Town Hall building from 12-2pm (weather permitting).
