Code of Conduct for Elected Members

The Times-Age asked today why the Code of Conduct for elected members due to be adopted at tomorrow’s inaugural meeting of the new Council did not use the LGNZ template. Specifically, the Code does not include reference to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. The reporter was advised that, as indicated in the report to the meeting, the Council will consider adoption of the 2021 code until a review of the code in the first half of next year.
