Road Closure | SH2 Chapel Street
Roadworks
Waka Kotahi has advised that major rehabilitation works will take place on SH2, Chapel Street, from 9 June 2023:
- 9 June -12 June. Friday 8 pm to Monday 6 am
- 16 June - 19 June. Friday 8 pm to Monday 6 am
Contractors will be working on Chapel St (south of Lincoln Rd to the south of Cole St). The work involves major excavation and foundation work ahead of laying asphalt. This will strengthen the road, making it less prone to potholes and traffic damage.
