Removal of silver birch trees

Masterton District Council contractors will next week (from Monday 19 June) remove silver birch trees on Roberts Road. These trees are ageing and have begun to pose a potential hazard in windy conditions. It is planned to remove the sliver birch, grind the stumps, and replace them with kowhai trees. This work should be completed within a month but may result in minor disruption for short periods, with some noise from equipment. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
