Tree Removal | King Edward Street

Our contractors are working on the stormwater drain upgrade in King Edward Street. This work includes the removal of Liquidamber trees on the non-powerline side of King Edward St. This work will take place in mid-late September. The removal of these trees is regrettable. We are unable to carry out the drain upgrade and guarantee the health of the trees. Council plans to re-plant lower-growing street trees in winter 2024. We apologise for any inconvenience that this work may cause.
