Road Closure | Queen Street

NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE Pursuant to section 342(1)(b) and the Tenth schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, the following road will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the purpose of permitting Christmas stalls.

Road Closure to Ordinary Vehicular Traffic: Queen Street from Jackson Street to State Highway 2. No posted detour routes will be in place.

Access to Queen Street will be restricted on the whole of the following roads: Perry, Bannister, Church Streets and Lincoln Road.

Access to Queen Street will be restricted on parts of the following roads: Park, King and Bruce Streets.

Period of Closure: 5am - 6pm Saturday 7 December 2024

It will be an offence under the Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.
