Henley Lake closed to recreational use due to toxic algae blooms

Henley Lake has been closed to recreational use due to high concentrations of toxic algae. People are advised not to swim or let dogs near the water. An Amber alert/caution is in place for the Ruamahanga River at Kokotau and The Cliffs due to elevated levels of toxic algae.

Works Notice | Iorns Street North

Monday 17th February, 7am – 5pm

PCLContracting will be doing work to replace the pumps within the sewer pump station. On-street parking will be limited during this time. Traffic management will be in place to allow safe thoroughfare. Please follow signage and instruction from the traffic manager on site.

During the replacement of the pumps, we will be over pumping to ensure that your systems stay live. Please stay safe and keep clear of the work area (seen in green below) as we will have open manholes and pits during this process.
