Henley Lake closed to recreational use due to toxic algae blooms

Henley Lake has been closed to recreational use due to high concentrations of toxic algae. People are advised not to swim or let dogs near the water. An Amber alert/caution is in place for the Ruamahanga River at Kokotau and The Cliffs due to elevated levels of toxic algae.

Bridge closure - Masterton-Castlepoint Road

Masterton-Castlepoint Road will be closed, 8:30pm-11pm and 12am to 6am, overnight on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 February, to enable resurfacing work to take place on the bridge between Blairlogie and Te Kanuka Road. The road will be open for through traffic between 11pm and 12am.
