Henley Lake closed to recreational use due to toxic algae blooms

Henley Lake has been closed to recreational use due to high concentrations of toxic algae. People are advised not to swim or let dogs near the water. An Amber alert/caution is in place for the Ruamahanga River at Kokotau and The Cliffs due to elevated levels of toxic algae.

Memorial Drive Carpark | Closed for Resurfacing

The Memorial Drive, Swing Bridge Carpark will be closed for repairs and resurfacing from Wednesday 19 to Friday 21 March and Monday 24 to Friday 28 March.

The footpath will remain open but please take care near the work site. Carparking on Memorial Drive and behind the boathouse will remain open.
