Following the release of the Proposed Wairarapa Combined District Plan, the Council has received a large number of resource consent applications.
In order to reduce interruptions to allow these applications to be processed within expected timeframes, the Council’s Customer Services team is currently receiving telephone enquiries and passing these to the Planning team via email. The aim is to respond to these within five working days. You can contact the Customer Services Team on 06 370 6300.
Planning staff remain available to meet people face-to-face at Waiata House between 11am and 2pm each week day.
