Community Associations
Te Kāhui Nōhanga
A residents’ association is a group of people and businesses in a suburb or neighbourhood, who want to advocate for their local community. A residents' association might organise local community events, make submissions to council and work to improve or beautify their surrounding area.
If you are interested in joining an association, you can find the relevant contacts below.
If your area doesn’t have an association and you would like to register your interest in joining or creating an association, get in touch with our Community Development team by calling 06 370 6300 or emailing kelsir@mstn.govt.nz.
