There are several groups that operate in the park and welcome new members.
Miniature Train Society
The Miniature Train Society manage and operate the trains and track that run around the island in Queen Elizabeth Park. They run trains every weekend throughout summer and a trip costs $1. The service is enjoyed by kids and grown ups alike.
Masterton Croquet Club
The Croquet Club has three lawns and a clubroom within the park and welcomes new members of all ages.
QE Park Sports Centre
The Sports Centre is located next to Coronation Hall and is home to several clubs including:
Friends of the Park
The Friends of the Park are a group who work to preserve the beauty of Queen Elizabeth Park and KidzOwn playground. They meet every second month on the first Monday at 5.30pm at the Croquet Club rooms.
